This week I have been using Zazu to help me with some other horses I have in training. She is a great help when it comes to ponying horses off of her as she isn't fussed by them (even when they are twice her size) and won't hesitate to give a little nip or pin her ears back if they are overstepping the mark. She stays soft to my cues and doesn't feed off the energy of the other horses. Because Zazu is so good at going where I point her, I find the other horses gain a lot confidence from her as well.
I have slowed down on teaching Zazu anything new now and I am just focusing on refining what she does know and improving where possible. I hope to get her out and about in the coming week.
