IVAN HAJNAL Week 2
This week I’ve been home, so had time to do more with Percy. The first real session in round yard Percy showed he knew the entrance gate and repeatedly threw himself at the wall of the gate looking for a way out. Its lucky we have solid panels or he’d have potentially hurt himself. As it was he has small laceration above right eye. He has responded well the poly pipe, reaching out to rest on his back and then move over his body as he stands. He is very intelligent and super wary, hyper vigilant of his surroundings and myself in his space. He’s not trusting of close contact. He snorts as I get close but remains faced up. Today and yesterday at the end of our sessions I gave him the opportunity and he chose to closed the distance between us and eat from my hand, however he doesn’t tolerate the hand touching his muzzle.
