VBA Lark Week 17

This week we hit up the Cowra show and had a go in every hack class we could. It is so not my forte but Lark was a good girl as usual. This time she expanded to taking 3yr old Alanna in some of the led classes and I won't say how old grandma/ my Mum in the ridden classes. Both new riders thoroughly enjoyed getting a chance to try out the famous VBA Lark and were full of praise. Lark is now apparently Alanna's best friend which was super adorable.

Lark's canter transitions still need a bit of work and her downward transitions are a bit choppy but her temperament and approach to learning is now exactly where I want it. She is super into the whole learning thing being really engaged and happy to try new things. Lark meets me at the gate most of the time and is otherwise super excited to come to me and start work.

We went back over our tackless riding in preparation for our demonstration this weekend at the Murrumbateman field days and she was gorgeous. We got much better downward transitions after a bit of ground work reminding and were able to walk, trot, canter and jump without a single concern with nothing but the string around her neck. I really can't wait to see Lark with her forever family loving life. Please check out our Black Pearl Horses Facebook group and get in touch if you are interested in purchasing this little super star or any of our other amazing ponies available from the 1st of December.
