This week I took Dynamo for a walk on our property. She enjoyed the time out of her paddock. She worked well on the lead, following me and stopping when I stopped. Her new paddock friends called out to her but she showed no separation anxiety.
I introduced her to a couple of new pieces of equipment that I will be using in my freestyle routine. She was not scared of the new equipment as I broke my routine into small pieces. Dynamo and I worked through each piece until I was able to achieve the full routine. Dynamo really loves to learn new things. I also worked on ground tying which I have been doing in small pieces to keep Dynamo’s attention. She has picked this up very quickly.
This week I banked and transferred the money that I raised at school a couple of weeks ago, for Dolly’s Dream Foundation. The bake and ribbon sale that I ran raised $400.
Next week Dynamo and I are planning take a trip in the float. I’m keen to see how she goes with a bit more atmosphere. I want her to get use to more people and movement around her so that she does not get stressed at EQUITANA.
