Zali had a huge week, with our last few days spent preparing for the trip back to New Zealand. A midnight practice loading and several vet checks later we were ready to go. The flight went flawlessly with Zali loading straight onto the cargo box with hesitating and she was relaxed throughout the 4-hour trip.
Travelling was a big learning curve for Zali and she has really started to relax and soften.
Since arriving home she has been clipped, covered and spends her days hanging out on our arena watching jumping lessons or exploring the stable block.
This morning Zali met me with her head over the stable door for the first time showing how much braver, and inquisitive she has become.
